Calorie shifting occurs when you change the amounts of calories significantly day after day. Your body will not know you are eating less calories and will continue to burn them at its normal rate. Add some additional exercise and your body will become a fat burning machine. However in my opinion the biggest advantage to this diet plan is the abolition of calorie or points counting. If you follow the SNAPP eating plan you will never count calories or points again. This alone takes much of the pressure off of the dieting process.
Disadvantages of the EODD Diet:
The Every Other Day Diet plan gives you several different plans to lose weight at different rates, but also gives you an exact eating plan so that you will be forced to succeed if you follow it. This eating plan is called SNAPP. So being able to consume the things you love is a great feature of the every other day diet, but the disadvantage is you must follow the diet program if you want it to work. Calorie shifting won't work if you break the cycle.

The Every Other Diet is Divided into “Burn days” and “Feed days”.
